CH cloud: connectivity degradation
Updates
The issue has been resolved and mail is processed correctly again.
We have lost connectivity in an auxiliary data centre. This will affect part of the IPv6 connections of mail being submitted to the SEPPmail Cloud in inline configuration. Not all gate/relay machines will be reachable on IPv6.
This should not lead to any noticeable effect, as all our customer hostnames (MX and relay hosts) are multi-homed with at least two IPv6 and two IPv4 addresses. Properly configured sending servers are expected to first try an immediate fallback delivery to at least one other configured IP address and if none are reachable keep mail in fallback queue to retry a few minutes later. If queues are rising on your server we recommend checking the sending server’s configuration and resubmission policies.
We are working with the hosting provider on restoring connectivity.
